Comet9 Peter Buffett and Tom Nelson forged a musical partnership in San Francisco where they both lived throughout the '80s. After they relocated to different cities, the partnership lived on through the band Comet9. With Susan Zielke providing the perfect voice for the duo's songs, the band created a buzz on national radio stations and had a local hit with the song "Matter of Time".

Head Patrol After hearing the creations of Beck, Peter Buffett knew he had to express his own post-modern sense of humor. With a 1927 recording of miner Dock Boggs, "Sugar Baby" was born. And with Malcolm Michiles scratching an LP's worth of Bird York's vocals into "Cocktails For Two", another post-modern pastiche was created.

Goran Kralj Lead singer/songwriter for the popular band The Gufs. Goran spent many years with The Gufs as they toured locally and nationally. Their hit song "Smile" still keeps them on the airwaves. In late 2000, Goran joined Peter Buffett in his east side attic studio to work on songs that tapped a different side of his songwriting and production skills.

Malcolm Michiles In 1990 Malcolm went from break dancing to record scratching when he joined the group Wild Kingdom. Robin Pluer Robin started singing when she was 5 years old. In the '80's, Robin formed the popular "R & B Cadets" and later joined Paul Cebar as lead singer in his band, "Paul Cebar and the Milwaukeeans". "C'mon Boy" is the first song composed by Robin with her friends John Seiger, one of Milwaukee's most recorded songwriters whose songs have been performed by some of the best artists in the country, and Paul Cebar an accomplished musician, performer and songwriter. Paul has toured all over the country with his group Paul Cebar and The Milwaukeeans. Both John and Paul's music can be heard any given day on National Public Radio's "World Cafe" with David Dye.

Kim Robertson A highly regarded and award winning Celtic harp player with 20 recordings to her name. In 1996 Kim recorded a Christmas CD with Peter Buffett (Star of Wonder) and has since shared studio credit with Peter on a variety of projects.

Secret Box While searching for more vocal talent to collaborate with, Peter Buffett found Kathleen "Bird" York - a talented songwriter/actress in her own right who periodically appears on "The West Wing". Peter and Bird worked on a number of songs together. A cover of " A Taste of Honey" was close to both of their hearts. It was on the first record Peter purchased "Introducing The Beatles" - and Bird remembers it as a song her mother sang to her as a child.
